In between pharma, FDA regulations, digital research and all of the other work that we do here at Dii, as a team we also like to occasionally stretch our muscles and explore our passions. Since several of our Perspectives about museums and social media have been well-received (check out Kara's "iPhone Apps and Art Museums" and Michelle's "Social Media and the Phillips Collection"), we decided to combine our interests and our expertise to put together our first industry-specific digital workshop: Social Media Bootcamp For Museums.
On October 18, 2011 we'll be hosting social media, marketing, PR, and educational professionals from museums and cultural institutions all over DC and Baltimore to discuss the trends, sites and strategies that can help boost attendance and engagement at their organizations. Over breakfast, we'll also be answering questions and spotlighting trends and technologies to watch out for. Keep an eye on this space for more information, photos and an event recap.
